The short answer

VR camming raises the stakes of ordinary cam-safety habits: the feed is stereoscopic, the room geometry is visible, and reseller distribution multiplies the places your stream appears. The working defense stack: geoblocking, identity hygiene, room design, and knowing the takedown paths - plus the removal lever this site gives you directly.

Geoblocking first

Set geo-blocks for your own country and any region where discovery would be dangerous to you - both platforms support it, and the reseller frontends (SLR, VRPorn) respect the Dreamcam-side blocks. Do this before the first broadcast; retroactive geoblocking only protects future shows.

Identity hygiene

  • Room geometry is identifying in VR. The 180-degree frame shows walls, windows and furniture at life-size scale - more detail than any 2D cam. Remove mail, documents, framed photos, house numbers visible through windows, and distinctive skyline or mountain views from the frame.
  • Metadata: nicknames, voice and language flags persist everywhere. Assume every tagged fact about you (age band, languages, body type) is public data - because on Dreamcam it is structured and indexable.
  • Payment and paperwork stay in the platform's verified channels - never in-room. Age verification documents go to the platform's process, never to viewers, agencies that contact you in-room, or "studios" offering better splits via chat.
  • Social cross-linking is your choice to make deliberately: a same-nickname presence on social platforms helps regulars follow you and helps strangers profile you. Decide per platform, not by accident.

Scraping and redistribution

Live feeds get recorded by viewers; that risk is identical to 2D camming. What VR adds: reseller distribution is legitimate (SLR, VRPorn sell the same feed) but means your show appears on more domains than you signed up for - covered in the multi-camming guide. Recorded redistributions outside the platforms are what takedown processes are for.

The takedown and removal levers

  • Platform-level: both native platforms process copyright and privacy takedowns; screenshots and links are what they act on.

A pre-broadcast checklist

  1. Geo-blocks configured (own country + risk regions)
  2. Room stripped of identifying objects and views
  3. Nickname chosen for zero collision with your real identity
  4. Platform verification completed through official channels only
  5. Takedown paths bookmarked: platform support, our removal page
  6. The equipment setup done after the room is clean - the camera shows everything in its frame.
