Everything on this site is measured, not estimated. This page documents where each number comes from, how often it refreshes, and how the best VR cam sites ranking is built.

Data sources and cadence

  • Dreamcam: public model API. A live poll every 5 minutes captures who is currently streaming a 3D (video3D) feed, with viewer counts; a daily roster sweep also captures offline models. Each stream item carries the exact resolution type, fisheye parameters, languages, tags and a priced tip menu.
  • Stripchat: public front API. VR-enabled models are polled in the live state across four gender channels; Lovense/Kiiroo flags, private rates, spy rates and languages come from the same feed.
  • Nothing else is a source. We don't buy data, scrape reviews or accept paid placement. The sites that merely resell Dreamcam streams are labeled as resellers, not treated as separate platforms.

What is stored

Every indexed model gets a profile page here with: live state and viewer count (5-minute freshness), stream resolution (measured, per model), languages, interactive-toy status, the cheapest recorded tip-menu price per practice, and a schedule heatmap built from a 30-day rolling window of live observations with a 7-day half-life decay - the "when is she usually live" answer, measured rather than claimed.

Practice taxonomy

Platform tags and tip-menu text are mapped onto one canonical practice list (practices). Rules are conservative: "anal" must not match "canal", and a practice only attaches to a model when the platform data or a priced menu line clearly indicates it. Where several prices exist, we keep the cheapest recorded.

Age verification

Dreamcam records without a valid age (18-80) are never indexed. Stripchat does not expose per-model ages; its platform-level ID verification covers the requirement (see our 2257 notice). Models can request removal at any time (DMCA & model removal).

How the best-sites ranking works

The ranking weighs, in order: (1) concurrent live VR roster - measured continuously, (2) per-stream resolution as reported by the platform, (3) delivery path (browser-native vs player app), (4) interactive-toy ecosystem, (5) price transparency (structured per-action pricing beats opaque rates). Affiliate relationships are disclosed and do not influence the order - the same data produces the same ranking regardless.

Limitations we are honest about

  • Viewer counts and live states are snapshots; a model can go offline between polls.
  • Tip menus change; recorded prices are the cheapest ever seen, not a guarantee.
  • Stripchat exposes no per-model ages; its roster-wide verification is the control.
  • Schedule heatmaps need about two weeks of history before they stabilize.
